With the theme “Bringing the Bangsamoro Government closer to the People”, the Office of the Chief Minister Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim through the Project TABANG, headed by Assistant Senior Minister, also Project Manager Abdullah “Dong” Cusain, led the TABANG Bangsamoro Convergence Activity together with the ministries, offices and agencies of the Bangsamoro Government that benefited more than 7,000 individuals at the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) – 1st District Engineering Office Open Grounds, Airport Road, Jolo, Sulu on Sunday, 28 July 2024.
Through the provision of immediate direct assistance to the Bangsamoro people, especially those who are living in poverty and afflicted by disasters and conflicts, Project TABANG aims to improve the situation towards a well-developed and peaceful community in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
The conduct of various services of the TABANG Bangsamoro in the province of Sulu brought different ministries, agencies, and offices of the Bangsamoro Government in convergence to deliver immediate direct services to the Bangsamoro people and provide comprehensive socio-economic services to the region.
The Health Ancillary Services of Project TABANG along with the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), facilitated the distribution of medicines and other basic healthcare kits that served 1,587 beneficiaries.
