Project TABANG turnovers 20 tractors to agricultural cooperatives during the 5th Bangsamoro Foundation Day

COTABATO CITY —— Assistant Senior Minister, also Project Manager Abdullah “Dong” Cusain, together with Livelihood Unit Head Mohamad Asnur K. Pendatun, administered the turnover of the 20 tractors to the agricultural cooperatives from Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, and Special Geographic Areas (SGA) held at the Office of the Chief Minister (OCM) Grounds on Monday, 22 January 2024.

In line with the 5th anniversary of the Bangsamoro Foundation Day, the tractors was launched by the Project TABANG through Oplan Bangsamoro Rapid Assistance (OBRA).

This initiative will assist farmers and their cooperatives in their day-to-day operations, as well as in increasing and producing crop production and offering additional services and goods.

Under the Livelihood component of Project TABANG, OBRA is a sub-program that attempts to address the lack of access to agricultural productions throughout the Bangsamoro region by building both a quick response livelihood intervention and a long-term program for farmers and fisherfolk.
