MALIDEGAO, SGA — The Office of the Chief Minister (OCM) through Project TABANG, facilitated the distribution of medicines, and other health-related assistance during the “SGADA sa Munisipyo Program”, which was led by the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG), and Special Geographic Areas Development Authority (SGADA) on 6 June 2024, held in Barangay Balungis, Municipality of Malidegap, Special Geographic Areas (SGA).
A total of 1,044 beneficiaries from the seven (7) barangays of Malidegao, such as Balungis, Batulawan, Fort Pikit, Gokotan, Nabundas, Nalapaan, and Nunguan.
The Health Ancillary Services Unit, headed by Sittie Majadiyah E. Omar, facilitated the distribution of medicines, and other health-related services.
The SGADA sa Munisipyo provided medical assistance, free consultations, check-ups, laboratory testing services, dental service, tuli operations, and other humanitarian and health-related services.
The program was in partnership with the Ministry of Health (MOH), Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), 90th Infantry Battalion Bigkis Lahi Company of the Philippine Army (90IB-PA), BARMM READi, Project TABANG, and Rural Health Unit (RHU).
In attendance are SGADA Administrator Butch P. Malang, Member of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Parliament Mohammad Kelie U. Antao, BARMM READi Head Atty. Datu Hamad M. Abas, Project TABANG Deputy Project Manager Abobaker I. Edris, and other representatives from partner agencies and other key officials of the Bangsamoro Government, and Local Government Unit (LGU) of Malidegao.
