Project TABANG provides immediate assistance to the flood-affected families and individuals in SGA and MDS

LIGAWASAN, SGA — The Office of the Chief Minister (OCM) through Project TABANG, spearheaded the deliveries of rice and livelihood assistance, and the conduct of medical outreach program to the flood-affected families and individuals from both barangays of Buliok, and Bulol of the Special Geographic Areas (SGA), including the municipality of Pagalungan, Maguindanao del Sur on Thursday, 27 June 2024.

A total of 3,000 25 kilograms of rice sacks, and 1,150 mixed vegetables seeds from the Oplan Bangsamoro Rapid Assistance (OBRA) of the project management office were distributed to the people of Buliok and Bulol.

Assistant Senior Minister, also Project Manager Abdullah “Dong” Cusain, led the distribution of rice sacks in Barangay Buliok, and Deputy Project Manager Abobaker I. Edris, graced the SGADA sa Munisipyo Program in Barangay Bulol, which was led by Special Geographic Areas Development Authority (SGADA) Administrator Butch P. Malang, together with representatives of the members of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Parliament Mohammad Kelie U. Antao, and Akmad “Jack” Abas, and other key officials from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Ligawasan, and Bangsamoro Government.

The Health Ancillary Services Unit, headed by Sittie Majadiyah E. Omar, facilitated the distribution of medicines, and other health-related services, that served a total of 838 beneficiaries in Barangay Bulol.
