PROJECT TABANG: MARAWI OCTOBER 2019

MARAWI CITY (October 4, 2019) – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Chief Minister Ahod "Al Haj Murad" Ebrahim graced the Project Tabang whose beneficiaries included more than a thousand families in Barangay Boganga on Friday.Project Tabang or the Tulong Alay sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan was launched on September 2, 2019 as a flagship program on bringing basic socio-economic services to the communities in the BARMM.Services rendered by the Bangsamoro government in Marawi City included free medical, dental, and legal services, feeding program, and a job fair.Free medicines, relief packs, hygiene kits, and garbage bins were also distributed during the event.The recovery and rehabilitation of Marawi City is one of the 12-Point Development Agenda of the current Bangsamoro leadership.The 'AMBAG Program’ or the 'Ayudang Medikal mula sa Bangsamoro Government’ which aims to enhance access to health services and assist indigent Bangsamoro constituents in availing the needed medicines and medical procedures were also launched on Friday through a signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Bangsamoro government and the Amai Pakpak Medical Center in Marawi City.In the same event, the Bangsamoro Government turned over 20 scholarships for students in the City, two units of tractors to farmers’ cooperatives, and 1,000 housing units to families who lost their home during the Marawi siege.The construction of new Integrated Provincial Health Office of Lanao del Sur and public markets in the towns of Kapatagan and Madamba were announced during the program.©️2019MILFchairmanOfficial
