CARMEN, NORTH COTABATO —— The Office of the Chief Minister Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim through the Project TABANG, together with Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS), paid a visit to the memorial site of the Manili massacre on Wednesday, 19 June 2024.
The incident in Barangay Manili, North Cotabato is one of the fateful parts of the Bangsamoro history that caused people to call for justice and demand their right to self-determination.
During the activity, Project TABANG distributes 500 of 25 kilograms rice sacks to the people of Barangay Manili, including the survivors of the June 19, 1971 incident.
In attendance, Assistant Senior Minister, also Project Manager Abdullah “Dong” Cusain, and Deputy Project Manager Abobaker I. Edris, together with other key officials and representatives from the MPOS, Local Government Unit (LGU) of Carmen, and offices of the Bangsamoro Government.
