Project TABANG extends services during the BARMM Convergence Program for SGA

PIKIT, NORTH COTABATO —— Project TABANG participated the BARMM Convergence Program for Special Geographic Areas (SGA), along with other ministries, agencies and offices of the Bangsamoro Government, that attended by various individuals from different areas and communities within the provinces of North Cotabato and SGA, held at the Pikit Municipal Gymnasium on Thursday, 25 January 2024.

Assistant Senior Minister, also Project Manager Abdullah “Dong” Cusain, graced the ceremonial program and turnover of medical kits, and food packs to the recipients of the project management office.

During the program, Project TABANG facilitated the distribution of medical kits to 840 adults and 424 children, and repacked rice and groceries to more than 2,000 beneficiaries.

In attendance, members of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Parliament, provincial heads, and key officials from different local government units.

The program was part of the 5th Bangsamoro Foundation Day (BFD) celebration, which marks the Founding Anniversary of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), in recognition of the dreams and aspiration of the people to chart their social, political, cultural and economic destiny in exercise of their right to self-determination.
