Project TABANG’s Livelihood Unit turned over 24 livestock to the six (6) cooperatives under the Oplan Bangsamoro Rapid Assistance (OBRA) Program in the areas of Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur on Friday, 19 May 2023/29 Shawwal 1444 AH.
The Bangsamoro region’s lack of access to agricultural productions is the focus of the OBRA initiative, which intends to develop both a long-term program for farmers and fisherfolk in the Bangsamoro region.
The distribution was coordinated by the head of the livelihood unit, Mohammad Asnur K. Pendatun, and the chief budget officer of the Office of the Chief Minister (OCM), Siettie Amina M. Abdulazis.
The distributed livestock aims to assist the farmers and cooperatives for their daily operations, and help them produce, enhance crop production and provide additional economic goods and services.
