PNP Chief holds Stakeholders’ Summit for Peace and Unity in the BARMM

BANGSAMORO GOVERNMENT CENTER —— Various local chief executives, key members and officials of the Bangsamoro Government graced the Stakeholders’ Summit for Peace and Unity, which was held at the Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex (SKCC), Bangsamoro Government Center (BGC), Cotabatao City on Thursday, 11 May 2023/ 21 Shawwal 1444 AH.

The summit led by the Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, PGen. Benjamin C. Acorda, Jr., along with Senior Minister Abunawas “Von Al Haq” Maslamama, Interior and Local Government Minister Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo, officials of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and PNP.

Chief Minister Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim, represented by Senior Minister Maslamama, welcomed PNP Chief Acorda, together with all the delegates for the said event, and delivered his message of support emphasizing the positive impact of the summit that will bring synergy and collaboration to heed the call of the National Government towards sustainable peace and unity across the country, particularly in the Bangsamoro region.

Project Manager Dr. Tomanda D. Antok, representing Maguindanao Del Norte Governor Abdulraof “Sammy Gambar” Macacua, expressed his gratitude to PNP Chief Acorda, for his dedication and passion on sustaining peace and development towards progressive success and well-developed Bangsamoro communities.

The said event aims to gather different officials, stakeholders and individuals from various local government units, offices, ministries and institutions from both government and non-government organizations, to discuss the updates, issues and concerns, and promote the culture of peace and unity in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
