BCPCH spearheads cultural heritage activities to highlight the living traditions of the Bangsamoro

SHARIFF KABUNSUAN CULTURAL COMPLEX (SKCC) —— The Bangsamoro Commission for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage (BCPCH), spearheaded the KADJA’AN: Preserving the Bangsamoro Heritage through Living Tradition, a 3-day exhibition and exposition of Bangsamoro Cultural Heritage held at the Bangsamoro Government Center (BGC) on Monday, 29 May 2023/Dhuʻl-Qiʻdah 1444 AH.

The program was part of the month-long celebration of the National Heritage Month with the theme “Heritage: Change and Continuity”, which aims to highlights the dynamic nature of heritage as a field that continuously innovates to achieve the objectives on the preservation of the products and human creativity in the Bangsamoro region.

Project TABANG also participated the said program, which was attended by various agencies, ministries, and offices from both government and non-government sectors in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

In attendance were Senior Minister Abunawas “Von Al Haq” Maslamama, BCPCH Chairperson Salem Lingasa, Indigenous Peoples’ Affair Minister Melanio Ulama, Member of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Parliament MP Suharto Esmael, and other key officials of the Bangsamoro Government.
