BARMM extends relief assistance to the people of South Upi through Project TABANG

The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Chief Minister Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim and Executive Secretary Abdulraof Macacua, through the Project TABANG or “Tulong Alay sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan”, in coordination with the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs (MIPA), distributed a total of 1,500 packed relief goods to the people of South Upi in the Province of Maguindanao on the 22nd of June 2020.

Project TABANG continuously extend its humanitarian services to the families who are in need, particularly who are living in poverty and affected by calamities and armed conflict in Barangay Pandan, Looy, Lamud, and other remote villages of the said town amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Representatives of MIPA and officials of LGU-South Upi also graced the said relief operations and expressed their gratitude to the Bangsamoro Government.
