MAGUINDANAO DEL SUR —— The Office of the Chief Minister (OCM) through the Project TABANG’s Health Ancillary Services, and Ministry of Health (MOH), led the medical mission that served 400 beneficiaries, which was held in Barangay Elian, Datu Saudi Ampatuan on Thursday, 18 May 2023/28 Shawwal 1444 AH.
Elian residents as well as residents of other nearby communities received free medical examinations, consultations, medications, and other health-related services during the mission.
The mission was facilitated by the Health Ancillary Services Unit, and the Medical Team of MOH, in order to provide immediate direct services through medical and health assistance, in coordination with the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) of Maguindanao, Municipal Health Office (MHO), Rural Health Unit (RHU) and Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Elian.
Project TABANG’s Health Ancillary Services is one of the major components, which aims to serve both Health and Non-Health facilities, including individuals and families in different communities through the conduct of medical missions, and provision of medicines, hygiene kits, and medical supplies, in coordination with the Ministry of Health or MOH, Provincial Health Offices, Rural Health Units, Barangay Health Stations and Centers, and other medical groups and partners that are relavance to the health advocacy of the project in the Bangsamoro region.
