TALITAY, MAGUINDANAO DEL SUR —— A total of 512 beneficiaries were provided with free check ups, consultations, medicines, and other medical and health services during the conduct of medical mission, which was held in the Municipality of Talitay on Wednesday, 10 May 2023/ 20 Shawwal 1444 AH.
The Office of the Chief Minister (OCM) through the Project TABANG’s Health Ancillary Services, and Regional Medical and Dental Unit (RMDU) of the Police Regional Office in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PROBAR), spearheads the medical mission in coordination with the Maguindanao Del Sur Police Provincial Office (MDS-PPO), Municipal Health Office (MHO), Municipal Police Station (MPS), Rural Health Unit (RHU) and Barangay Local Government Units (BLGUs) of Talitay.
During the mission, around 332 adults, 126 children, and 54 random blood testing beneficiaries from the nine (9) barangays of Talitay were served.
Municipal Mayor Sidik Amiril, and Vice Mayor Datu Fahad Midtimbang, along with the MPS Chief PCapt. Ralph Waldy B. Bunag, MHO Head Dr. Rania Ilana Macaumbos, and other key officials of LGU-Talitay, expressed their support during the said activity.
The medical mission was facilitated by the RMDU Team, headed by PLtCol. Alma E. Paredes, and the Health Ancillary Services Unit, headed by Sittie Majadiyah E. Omar, together with the Medical Team Leader, Jennifer P. Ali.
