The Municipality of Datu Paglas was severely impacted when Typhoon Paeng struck the Maguindanao region, which led to significant unrest among the locals.
Typhoon Paeng’s devastation had a significant impact on people’s lives in the municipality of Datu Paglas because they weren’t prepared for the extensive damage it would cause.
People in the aforementioned municipality were in need of assistance, and Project TABANG responded by giving them 1,000 bags of 10 kilograms of rice.
Chief Minister Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim urged the Bangsamoro Government to offer aid to the regions that were severely hit by the typhoon in accordance with Project TABANG.
The Humanitarian Response and Services Unit coordinated the distribution under the direction of Project Manager Dr. Tomanda D. Antok, together with the Unit Head Datu Serhan L. Badal, and members of its field team, who worked with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Datu Paglas.
Mayor Abubakar P. Paglas, expressed his appreciation for the support that Project TABANG was able to provide 10 kilograms of rice that are being given to the people.
